Respiratory Conditions

The team at Montana Equine is very experienced at diagnosing common conditions affecting equine athletes, such as equine asthma (aka “heaves”) or exercise-induced pulmonary hemorrhage (EIPH or “bleeders”). We also have advanced experience treating and preventing bacteria and viral pneumonias, as well as the rare but serious fungal conditions affecting upper or lower airways. As in all types of medicine, the best outcomes rely on an accurate diagnosis, and we have the tools and expertise required to help determine ideal treatment protocols.
