A group of caring clients has established a fund to honor the memory of “Honour” Palmer, a wonderful mare who passed too soon from the world. Led by the mare’s owner, Nancy Palmer, these folks wanted to establish this fund in the mare’s memory as a way to help with the veterinary care of other horses. The purpose of the fund is to help clients in need of financial assistance, and is targeted to help patients with a good prognosis who just need to get a little help to “get to the finish line”. Our colleague, Dr. Shannon Moreaux (DVM, and Associate Professor of Equine Science at MSU Bozeman) assists with making the final determination for aid on a case-by-case basis.
The Honour Fund is a tax-exempt, Not-For-Profit organization, and welcomes your charitable donations to assist with the care of sick horses.
