Cardiology

At Montana Equine we perform specialized testing to help diagnose heart problems. We use tests like cardiac enzyme testing, EKG (electrocardiogram), and echocardiogram (cardiac ultrasound) to help better understand why a patient’s heart function might be compromised. Whenever indicated, we refer complex cardiac cases to a board certified cardiology specialist at a regional teaching hospital.
