Arthroscopy
One of the most frequently-performed procedures at Montana Equine is arthroscopy. It is the evaluation and treatment of joints and tendons via minimally-invasive tools. This specialized procedure provides decreased healing time for joint problems, and a quicker return to work. Using a specialized camera and micro-instrumentation, we are able to visualize and correct many orthopedic issues. We routinely perform arthroscopy to diagnose and treat conditions such as osteochondrosis (OCD), chip removal and other conditions affecting joints.
