Ophthalmic (eye)

Injuries to the equine eye require urgent attention. Our veterinarians have experience in treating all manifestations of eye injury and disease, including placement of subpalpebral lavage systems and ocular surgery. We also offer referral to board-certified ophthalmologists whenever necessary. We routinely perform conjunctival grafting, cyclosporine implantation and when necessary, enucleation surgeries. With our skilled staffing, we are able to achieve the best possible prognosis for complete recovery of vision.
