Montana Equine utilizes state-of-the-art facilities and equipment, allowing us to provide optimum care for every type of surgery.The surgical team at Montana Equine has been led by Dr. Al Flint DVM, PhD, who has been with Montana Equine since 2007. Dr. Flint’s advanced experience as an equine surgeon has developed with specialty training. Dr. Flint manages most of our surgical cases in conjunction with the rest of the team.
In addition to the advanced skills of our surgical team, Montana Equine utilizes state-of-the-art facilities and equipment, allowing us to provide optimum care for every type of surgery. Following surgery and post-operative care, our team will work closely with your primary veterinarian to help your horse rehabilitate in its home environment. Additionally, our surgical team can serve as a resource for your local veterinarian by providing consultations in difficult or unusual cases. Our doctors can also make themselves available to visit your local vet clinic, ranch or barn.
The surgical team, including a surgeon, an anesthetist and a surgery tech, are available to handle all of your horse’s needs, 24 hours a day, and 7 days a week.
